The engine recipe: Dart Big M block, Dart 275cc Pro-1 heads, Eagle crank and rods, JE Pistons, Weiand Stealth Dual Plane manifold, Holley 750cfm HP carb, MSD Digital E-Curve Distributor, and a Big Mutha' Thumpr cam from COMP Cams. Frank Hawley’s Drag Racing School Dragster Adventure Challenge Program
Recently, about 20 of us editorial types had the opportunity to attend the Frank Hawley Drag Racing School in Fontana, California, to take part in their one-day Dragster Adventure Challenge Program. We thought it would be fun to share with you a quick video featuring a personal view of making a 10-5-second quarter-mile pass in one of the school’s Super Comp big-block powered dragsters, from engine startup to the final turn off.
