Black Betty Takes in a Road Course Nail
Hitting the road course at the 2010 Run To the Coast event in El Toro in Black Betty, our â01 Z28 project car, I was unaware that the left rear tire had taken in a nail and was gradually losing air pressure throughout the run. You can see the excessive work going on with the steering wheel on mellow right turns, but it only becomes obvious when I make a hard right on the final s-turn. Itâs there you can hear the rear tire fold under the wheel and see the hand movement as I try to control the sudden oversteer.

Uncovered 1966 Corvette Convertible First Start-Up
This month's rare find is a '66 Corvette that has been sitting under a cover in a Texas driveway since the '90s. After rebuilding the carburetor and installing a new fuel pump, Graham fired up the 327 by running a rubber hose to “a peanut jar that we drilled a hole in the top of.”
