2011 Super Chevy Vegas Autocross - 1969 Camaro
At the 2011 Super Chevy Show Autocross as the Las Vegas Motor Speedway Todd Akes won the Expert Class with his 666hp all-aluminum big-block '69 Camaro. The car has a DSE front subframe and a modified Chris Alston's G-Bar rear and rolls on 18-inch Forgeline wheels with Toyo R888 tires (275/35 front and massive 335/30 rear). Todd was able to click off a 25.83 to take the top spot.

Frank Hawley’s Drag Racing School Dragster Adventure Challenge Program
Recently, about 20 of us editorial types had the opportunity to attend the Frank Hawley Drag Racing School in Fontana, California, to take part in their one-day Dragster Adventure Challenge Program. We thought it would be fun to share with you a quick video featuring a personal view of making a 10-5-second quarter-mile pass in one of the school’s Super Comp big-block powered dragsters, from engine startup to the final turn off.
