2011 Super Chevy Vegas Autocross - 1969 Camaro

At the 2011 Super Chevy Show Autocross as the Las Vegas Motor Speedway Todd Akes won the Expert Class with his 666hp all-aluminum big-block 69 Camaro. The car has a DSE front subframe and a modified Chris Alstons G-Bar rear and rolls on 18-inch Forgeline wheels with Toyo R888 tires (275/35 front and massive 335/30 rear). Todd was able to click off a 25.83 to take the top spot.

One of the tuning runs for our leftover LS1 iron 5.7L LS engine build. This was with the upgraded Fast 92mm intake and we ran it up to the rev limiter. Later we raised the limiter a bit and squeezed out a couple more hp.

2017 Big Red Camaro Unveil at Westech Chassis Dyno Tune
We check out the rebuilt (from the 2016 fire) Big Red 1969 Camaro at Westech Performance. They were there to do drivability tuning and couldn't go more than half throttle before the tires would spin on the dyno rollers. Power comes from a ProCharged (F3) methanol-fed 598-inch big-block that puts anywhere from 1,600 to over 2,000 hp dependion on boost.
