We contacted Eastwood and spoke to our guy and told him we had some surface rust to eradicate. He recommended using Fast Etch, Rust Encapsulator, and some of the company's new 2K Aero-Spray primer. Since Eastwood tests everything it sells, we trusted his advice and ordered it up. The Fast Etch is a rust remover liquid made to lift rust off the surface and leave behind a zinc phosphate coating, and is a great alternative to abrasive blasting. Fast Etch can be sprayed, brushed, or used as a parts dip. The Rust Encapsulator is used to seal in rust and prevent it from getting any worse. We will go over the 2K later in the story, but it's pretty cool stuff.
