It's pretty much guaranteed that you'll never find a flat surface on your car when you really need one; like when you're looking for a place to hang that firewall-mounted throttle pedal on any number of '50s or '60s vehicles. There may be a lot of flat space on those firewalls, but all too often, it just seems like it's not in the right place. That's one of the reasons Lokar developed its Eliminator floor-mounted throttle pedal assembly. It provides another option for vehicles with cramped or contoured firewalls. Of course, some people will like it for cosmetic reasons since it also moves the throttle cable mount under the floor, thereby cleaning up the firewall. Whatever the reason, this slick cable is just the solution that many car builders are looking for. It's also pretty simple to install.
