Lt1 Engine Build Dyno Cart
Here we go! Our 383 stroker gets loaded onto the dyno cart at Vrbancic Brothers Racing. At this point everything is in place except the headers and Speed-Pro electrical connections. The large aluminum bracket at the front of the engine was custom made to hold the water-to-air intercooler that the guys at ATI sent special for the dyno runs.

Lt1 Engine Build Stroker
Here's our stroker in place on the DTS dyno. Note the stainless steel braided line leading from the Procharger to the oil pan. This is the oil return line and, unlike the standard installation instructions that have you "punch" a hole in the corner of the pan, we simply threaded a fitting into the pre-welded bung in the Billet Fabrication pan.

Lt1 Engine Build Dyno Headers
We used a set of Vrbancic's dyno headers for our tests rather than the long-tube pipes sent to us by TPIS. The reason: we needed to keep an eye on the exhaust temperatures, and these headers already had the connections welded in. Note the Carbon Components carbon fiber valve covers. Nice stuff.
