Here's a good shot of how the OEM S-pipe is utilized in the SW system. Lee started welding at the start of the system.

As for the two elbows, when Lee mocked up the system, he drew a line connecting the two elbows showing where they need to be mounted. Then he pulled the elbows out, lined them up, and welded them in place on the ground since there's not a whole lot of room to work with on the car.

The elbow has a bracket welded to it on which to mount the hanger. Here you can see how Lee figured a simple way to weld the brackets together.

The optional tips might be a little more money, but you truly are paying for looks and quality. Look at how sleek and clean the TIG welds are. On top of that, the tips and welds are highly polished, which always makes for nice eye candy.

Having one exhaust pipe hang lower than the other is like wearing two distinctive looking socks with shorts on! That's why it's key to make sure they're mounted at the same height.

Same goes for a cockeyed exhaust tip. Using a simple level, Lee made sure the Y-Tips were squared up even with the laws of gravity.

From a dead man's view, you can see how clean the system mounts to the car on the underside. Along with looks, you also get that attitude you thrive on as soon as the spark ignites the motor.
