Shown here is a wideband heated oxygen sensor (top), and a traditional heated oxygen sensor found in most American passenger vehicles (bottom). The M-90 ECM is capable of working with both (but not at the same time). For you hot rodders, the M-90 can operate efficiently with a single O2 sensor, while the emissions-conscious catalytic converter crowd can run both pre- and post-catalytic sensors.
