What about the installation? Is it any different than hooking up a conventional analog ignition system in your Chevrolet? Here's the drill: The red wire goes to the ignition switch. The orange wire goes to the positive (+) side of the coil. The black wire goes to the negative (-) side of the coil. The white wire goes to breaker points (if used). The violet and green wires (with the connector) go to a magnetic pickup (distributor, crank trigger). The blue wire is an accessory wire to activate the internal two-step. And the pink wire is also an accessory wire, used to activate the internal retard stage. By the way, there is also a green looped wire that is either cut or left as is, depending upon the type of trigger used. Basically, it works with the trigger compensation circuit inside the control box.
