Lastly, we installed the new 15/16-inch tubular Extreme rear sway bar. Considering the wagon didn't have a bar to begin with, this should make a huge difference in how the Malibu negotiates the curves. There are two adjustment holes on the bar, so we decided to start out on the less aggressive setting. Since it attaches to the trailing arms via dog-bone links, the system is far less likely to suffer from bind.
