The front shocks require a bit more work to install. The problem is the shock's larger body won't fit through the opening in the lower control arm. QA1 recommends dropping the arms, bolting the lower T-bar mount to the control arm, and then reinstalling the arm, shock, and coil together. We felt this was not going to be very easily done, and if the shocks had to come out, the arms would have to be dropped again. We decided to drop the arms and carefully use a die grinder to enlarge the hole slightly.
