Rock Valley Antique Auto Parts makes this stainless steel tank. All tanks are baffled, pressure-tested, and set up for Stewart-Warner, Sun, VDO, Auto Meter, and Classic sending units.

The Rock Valley tank is made to specifically bolt into the stock location of the Camaro. Rock Valley includes stainless steel mounting straps for the tank.

Classic Industries sells these OER door handles. Though the temptation to shave the door handles was strong, Jelinek decided to leave the door handles on the car to simplify usage for the new owner.

Bassani Exhaust supported the cause with a wide selection of J bends, U bends, pipe, and, of course, its stainless steel custom mufflers. Its mufflers are made from T-304 stainless steel, which is far more corrosion resistant than aluminized or mild steel. The Bassani mufflers are completely MIG welded. There are no spot welds or bead locked (crimped) seams anywhere. Although its exhaust systems can be welded in place, the complete exhaust systems use a gasketless ball and socket connection or a slip connection for strong fit and ease of installation. The scavenging effect of these mufflers enhances torque, horsepower, and gas mileage.

Kevin mocks up the Bassani exhaust system for install. The Inland Empire driveshaft is attached while the car is on the rack. The driveshaft is built with 1026 drawn tubing, and is stronger, straighter, and rounder than the cold rolled tubing common in original equipment. Each shaft is built to insure a proper centerline of rotation based on its universal joints, resulting in shaft run-out tolerances to one half or less of those required by original equipment manufacturers.

For the first time, Project American Heroes 2 moves under its own power. Jelinek is at the wheel, Matt is checking underneath the car, and the rest of the crew gives the car a send off.
