Now the hood hinge and hood were installed. We tightened the hood hinge to the fender in its lowest possible position, but left the hood bolts a little loose. We also left out the hood latch at this time, which will help in the adjustment process. We carefully closed the hood and then centered it in the opening between the two fenders. Then we opened it just enough to slip our hand in and tighten the hood bolts. If you notice that the body lines on the side of the hood just wont straighten out, you might need to loosen the core support bolts and shift the front end over a bit. Another telltale sign the front clip may be on crooked is having one larger door gap and one that is very tight.
