The heart of the this motor had to be its custom-made Lunati pistons. The 2618 forgings have two valve reliefs and were built to our specs, sticking .015-inch out of the bore at TDC. Final compression for The Smoginator was 10.6:1, which kind of negates the option of running 87 octane. View Related Article
