Congratulations to Forrest Mocny of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, whose Corvette photo (shown) was recently selected as the top entry in our VETTE/Mantic Performance Clutches Photo Contest. For his efforts, Mr. Mocny will receive a $2,500 check from Mantic.
Mr. Mocny's 2008 Corvette is powered by a GM Performance LS 376 Crate Engine which was installed at a local Chevrolet dealer. It was then computer mapped and dyno-tuned by Breathless Performance. This Vette has a BPP Vortex RAM induction system, American Racing Headers, and a complete performance system that feeds into a NPP Dual Mode Performance Exhaust. It is also equipped with the Z51 option package and ZR1 replica wheels (Front 9.5x18 and Rear 12x19) wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tires (Rear: 345/30 ZR 19 and Front: 265/35 ZR 18).
A Z06 rear spoiler and rear quarter panels give the car a unique look, while a Lingenfelter hood with a charcoal Stinger stripe pays homage to the '67 big block Corvette.
The awesome winning photo was taken at the Boca Raton Train Museum in Florida, with a 1947 Seaboard Streamliner Rail Car appearing as the backdrop.
On behalf of Mantic and the VETTE staff, we would like to thank everyone who entered.
