The rain finally came just in time to cancel the final round of racing
The final round of LSX Rumble, All Motor, Real Street, and Drag Radial will play out at the end of the year in Indianapolis.
In All Motor, Judson Massingill will be facing off against Greg Delaney – both cars ran strong all weekend long as the #1 and 2 qualifiers. The Baskin Truck Sales-sponsored fifth-gen finally clicked off an 8.3-pass in the semis to beat Robert Strong's Monte. Meanwhile Judson backed up his 8.2 pass in the SAM Camaro against Danny Nicely's C5. The 2000 Corvette is just getting a handle on its new combo, and was battling traction issues all weekend.
The finals of Real Street will feature the #2 and 3 qualifiers, Kevin Rounsavall and Rodney Massengale. It was a tough weekend for the Massengale and the RPM C5, who struggled to get the right converter after switching up the motor combination. However, he'll have a few more months to get it right and so will the crew at Shahan Performance that help set Rounsavall's Camaro.
The Drag Radial face-off will feature Mike Brown and Anthony Manna. Both seemed to have the best handle on the track all weekend as the #1 and 2 qualifiers. Brown's single turbo Trans Am overpowered Mike Meeks' nitrous combo and Ray Litz's X275 Camaro in earlier rounds, finally eclipsing 200mph. Meanwhile, Anthony Manna's single turbo Camaro only needed to take down Joe DeDona's blown C5Z to reach the finals, staying consistent and on pace.
