For 2017, Chevrolet's continued drag strip testing of the Camaro has lead to even more performance parts available for the 6th-gen that up the performance potential while keeping the factory warranty.

The Drag Race Development Camaro ZL1 lead to the production of American Racing long-tube headers, as well as smaller-diameter rear brakes and 16-inch Weld wheels, all of which are available from Chevrolet Performance. The concept uses unique calibrations for the engine, electronic limited slip, transmission, and magnetic ride to optimize drag strip traction to work with a smaller supercharger pulley and 110-octane race fuel. The result is 700+ horsepower and 10-flat elapsed times at 137.78mph.

When Hot Wheels launched in 1967, a Chevrolet Camaro was among their first models. To celebrate that relationship, the 50th Anniversary edition Hot Wheels Camaro will be available at dealerships in coupe and convertible flavors. Chevrolet is also displaying a 2018 COPO Camaro in Hot Wheels livery wearing new Weld wheels.

Another concept that might hint at future Chevrolet Performance products or even a production vehicle, a performance version of the Silverado was shown with a supercharged 5.3L V8. Based on the popular crew cab body style, this is the most realistic version of a performance Silverado we've seen in quite a while. An LT4-style supercharger and charge cooler, cat-back exhaust, and cold air induction system add more than 100hp to the 5.3L's already punchy 355hp. Additional performance parts include 6-piston Brembo front brakes and 22-inch wheels with performance tires.
