The fifth-generation Camaro is already an impressive machine, but fans of Chevy's iconic pony car will be happy to hear that the automaker is bringing a revamped 2014 Chevy Camaro to the 2013 New York International Auto Show. The updated Camaro will no doubt build upon the already successful formula that's seen it reign as the most popular sports car under $50,000 for three consecutive years.
"Chevrolet customers have validated our performance credentials with their enthusiasm," said General Motors North America President Mark Reuss, in a release announcing the new Camaro. "We're going to give them even more reasons to be enthused about Chevrolet performance, design and technology."
Currently, the 2013 Camaro has three powertrain options: the 323-horsepower V6, the 426-horsepower V8, and the mighty ZL1 with its supercharged LSA small-block V-8 producing 580 horsepower. We can't wait to see what's in store for the Camaro brand in 2014. We'll know soon enough when the car is revealed at New York later this month.
