After a thrilling 2016 season that crowned Danny Popp the champion for the third consecutive year, registration for Optima’s Search for the Ultimate Street Car is open now at DriveOPTIMA.com. For the last several years, OSUSC events have invited classic and late-model muscle car enthusiasts from across the country to get behind the wheel and compete against other amateur racers at some of the nation’s most iconic tracks. With more hot rodders building cars geared toward this unique series, 2017 promises to be the most exciting yet. No doubt Corvette drivers have a huge bull’s-eye on their backs with the Camaro owners chomping at the bit to take another shot at the championship, but only time will tell if they can step up their game.
Pull up your driving suit, strap on your helmet, and get ready to have some fun with your early or late-model hot rod in a safe environment for the most exhilarating experience you are allowed to have in your car. You’ve seen coverage on this great series at chevyhiperformance.com, and now it’s time to get behind the wheel to experience it firsthand.
The 2017 schedule includes the following events:
March 17-19 - Las Vegas Motor Speedway
