The Velocity Channel’s season premiere of Wheeler Dealers is tomorrow night Wednesday, June 29 at 9 PM and your fiends at the Super Chevy Network, and the Hot Rod Network have a sneak peek of the very first episode featuring a 1968 Corvette convertible found in the great state of Texas. The boys, that’s Mike Brewer and Edd China hauled the first year C3 back to their Huntington Beach, California shop and did things to it only crazed English madmen would consider. That’s not true we just made that up because it sounded funny at the time. Anyways as the copy straight from the Velocity Channels PR person revealed, “Mike and Edd go back and forth about the definition of a "real" sports car. Edd is in favor of the nimble” (Picture Edd hauling a gangly baby giraffe home in a Borgward Isabella convertible) “and Mike loves the speed with the desire to hit the gas and feel the seat in his back, Mike brings home a 1968 Corvette C3, chrome bumper edition.”
As Southern California weekend car show goers got to learn firsthand by meeting them its true on, or off camera Mike and Edd are real car guys. Our gallery of photos that aren’t the images of the 1968 Corvette convertible with Edd (courtesy Velocity Channel) are candid behind the scenes shots taken while Mike, Michelle, and daughter Chloe were out and about enjoying a local car show, or Mike and Edd on the job working on episodes for the upcoming season of Wheeler Dealers that begins June, 29 at 9 PM on a color television near you — tea cakes and digestives not included.
