There’s no such thing as too much horsepower. After a short while driving any car regularly can make it become boring. The condition known as “Ninja Syndrome” is named in honor of the blindingly fast Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle where what once seemed like a scary amount of horsepower soon becomes ordinary and commonplace.

If you are the owner of a 650 horsepower 2015-2016 Corvette Z06 and suffering from Ninja Syndrome, the folks at Hennessey have the cure. It’s a $74,500 blueprint job that punches your stock LT4 out to 416-inches with a 4.00-inch stroker crank and 11.5:1 compression. It’s a full-service operation, all one has to do is deliver their 2015-2016 Corvette Z06 to Hennessey and the results are 1,000hp at 6,800 rpm and 887 lb-ft torque at 4,200rpm. To get those numbers Hennessey installs a high-flow supercharger with an extreme duty intercooler system. The list of parts and machine work goes like this.

• Custom forged aluminum pistons with 11.5:1 compression ratio & steel wrist pins
• 6.125-inch billet steel H-beam connecting rods with ARP bolts
• Balance, blueprint & assemble short-block: fully de-bur block, line hone block with ARP main studs, deck block
