Larry Larson came to SCSN swinging: In Friday’s test and tune, Larson’s street-legal S-10 churned out another record-breaking run while prepping for the Street Car Super Nationals at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. While Larson’s afternoon was spent making test hits on the S-10, the sun set on a full-tilt quarter-mile pass for a 5.891 seconds at 239.74 mph—lifting early at the big-end.

Larson Time Slip Scott Clark 2/2

Let that soak in for a second. Breathe deeply. OK, good now?

That’s the S-10s fastest run to date on a test hit and just happens to be the quickest pass for a street-legal vehicle that we’ve ever seen. The biggest change to the S-10 is a switch to VP Racing Fuel’s M1 Methanol drag race fuel.

SCSN just got a little bit more interesting.
