Kyle Tucker Crowned National Champion at Optima Ultimate Street Car Invitational Series

Kyle Tucker, co-owner of Detroit Speed inc., was crowned the Overall GTV Class Champion and the National Champion following the 2015 season of Optima Batteries "Search for the Ultimate Street Car.” Kyle, driving his Detroit Speed 1970 Camaro with BFG Rival S tires and a Mast Motorsports engine, claimed three GTV class victories and two Second place finishes in the nine total events on his way to qualifying for the Optima Ultimate Street Car Invitational.

That point total was enough to capture the overall GTV Class Championship as well as finish with the most points in any class and ultimately crowned the 2015 National Champion. Kyle said "The past year competing in the series has been wonderful for myself, Detroit Speed and all of our partners. Every one of the company decals on the 1970 has a part of this and I am excited at the opportunity to compete in the series again next year. Thanks again to Mast Motorsports for their help and awesome Mast engine powerplant."
