World’s Largest Chevy Big-Block Collection Can Be Yours

If you love Chevy’s big-block, then prove it by purchasing what must be the largest collection of big-block blocks ever assembled outside of Chevy itself. For sale on eBay right now are 300 Chevy big-block blocks from 1965 through 1980 that includes everything from Mark IV 396 cu in blocks to some high deck blocks, in case you’re itching to build a stroker. There are also some 502 cu in high performance blocks just to add some icing on the big-block cake. Just so you don’t think it’s a typo, that’s 300 bare big-block engine blocks.

The seller says it took over 40 years to amass this collection. They are in one spot; a warehouse where they are placed on a deep pallet rack system 10 rows high. The seller estimates that’s over 35 tons, in case you were thinking about melting them down, though we wouldn’t recommend it as the asking price is way beyond iron scrap metal prices. No, you would be buying these blocks for restorations or for resale; and just so you know the math comes out to about $1,700 per block.

There are no “W” 348 and 409 engines in the lot, and no aluminum ZL-1 blocks either. They have a partial listing of the block numbers and corresponding manufacturing dates, too.

So now’s your chance to be the big-block king of he world, you can check it out HERE
