We just received some early dyno-test results on ProCharger's intercooled supercharger system for the C7 Corvette, and the numbers are impressive.
According to our contact, all three of the company's test Vettes (a dry-sump manual, a wet-sump manual, and an automatic) generated around 600 rwhp at only 7 psi of boost. These results represent gains of 45 to 47 percent over the cars' baseline numbers.
The new system will include a dedicated eight-rib drive and a choice of two intercooler-mounting configurations (horizontal or vertical) when it goes on sale in the near future. Impressively, no fuel-pump or -injector upgrades are required.
We'll have more info on this exciting addition to the C7 aftermarket in an upcoming issue of VETTE.
