ProCharger supercharger systems, aka Accessible Technologies, Inc., has announced its industry leading racing champions today at its booth (#2305) at the Performance Racing Industry (PRI) Show in Indianapolis where it is also debuting six new racing supercharger models. Three of the six champions being recognized drive Chevy Camaros equipped with ProChargers: Kevin Young, Al Jimenez, and Ronnie Hackelton.
Kevin Young is the NMCA West 275 Drag Radial Champion, running a ProCharger F-1X application on his Camaro. He is the defending 2012 champion and ended 2013 with an insane record-setting 7.35 at 191mph run, which provided him with the championship title again this year.
Al Jimenez is the NMCA West True Ten 5 Champion, with a ProCharger F-3R-136 application installed on his Camaro. He is also a defending champion who started the season with a win after running 6.84 at 211mph. The season-commencing elapsed time and mile per hour went unmatched and unbeaten for the remainder of the year, and he won three of four races retaining the NMCA West Championship honors for a second year in a row.
Ronnie Hackelton won the NMCA LSX 5th Gen Camaro Challenge with the help of his 2010 Camaro’s 388 cubic-inch LSX equipped with a ProCharger F-1C. Drag racing since the early 1960s, Hackelton competed in several classes this year including LSX Rumble, 5th Gen Camaro Challenge, and True Street. Within the 5th Gen Camaro class, he collected one win and three runner-up finishes, which allowed him to earn the Championship position at the conclusion of the 2013 season.
The six championships continue a fourteen year streak that ProCharger has maintained – the most championships among modern supercharger manufacturers, including more championships than all other competitors combined over the past 10 years.
You can stop by booth 2305 to learn more about the champions and check out the six new and improved supercharger applications including upgraded versions of the F-1D, F-1A and F-1C, as well as three all-new models: the F-1C-10.5, the F-1X-12, and the F-1X-12A. All of the new designs are highly-efficient and rugged, and have been built to help ensure that customers have access to serious quality and power while obeying class rules. The new additions to the ProCharger F-series line-up brings the count to thirteen models covering every power level from 1,050 maximum horsepower (F-1D) to over 3,000 horsepower (F-3R-136), so there is one for literally every racing application.
