Mecum Anaheim 2013 is approaching quickly and this beautiful 1956 Chevy Nomad restomod will be hitting the block. The Nomad was completely disassembled to bare metal and restored piece by piece by Hot Rod Heaven of Dayton, Ohio. Built on an Art Morrison chassis, the Nomad features an LS1 V-8 engine cranking out approximately 400 horsepower paired with a 4L60E overdrive transmission. It is adorned with modern conveniences, which make it easy and comfortable to drive including air conditioning, power steering, Wilwood 4-wheel disc brakes, power windows, and a sweet sound system. A flawless coat of Red and Silver Gray is a nod to the traditional ‘50s two-tone style, and triple-plated chrome, refinished and new stainless trim, and chromed billet wheels all bump the car up a notch and make it a real head-turner. Ron Mangus, a legend in the upholstery industry, created the beautiful gray leather interior.
