Motor Trend Tests 2014 Cadillac CTS Vsport (video)

"The fundamentals of this platform are here and they work really, really well."

We knew at the outset that the 2014 Cadillac CTS Vsport was going to be a phenomenal vehicle, starting with the 420hp twin-turbo V-6 engine and promise of lighter weight from the previous model. MT Ignition's host Carlos Lago confirms that the lighter weight is a huge advantage with the new chassis, which is dialed in perfectly for neutral handling and great feedback. Despite the rather pedestrian Pirelli tires, the Vsport boasts tremendous grip. Not only can we not wait to get our hands on the new model, but it also bodes well for the next CTS-V.
