The 5th generation of the Chevrolet Camaro will receive a face-lift once again. Making a debut in Frankfurt, Germany, this September 12th, GM plans to unveil both coupe and convertible versions of the pony car. Earlier this year the all-new Z/28 was released to the press, but the drop top has yet to be seen.
The 2014 Chevrolet Camaro will sport a revamped front grille and rear tail lamp setup. Sleeker lines on the sides of the body, a built-in antenna/spoiler, and wider hood grills will also help distinguish the new model year from the last
The muscle car will rev a 6.2L V-8 engine harnessed by a six-speed transmission, available in manual or automatic. The coupe will churn out an impressive 432hp with a 0 to 60 mph time of 5.2 seconds, while the convertible is estimated to run 5.4 seconds.
Creature comforts for the remodeled Camaro will include hands-free door locks, MyLink 7-inch display, heads-up display, and a back-up camera. For an added bonus, leather wrapped Recaro seats will be offered for additional comfort and panache.
Expect the Camaro to be in the same price range as before, and on sale in late 2013.
