If you dig limited edition Corvettes, then this news will definitely excite you – GM just unveiled the 2014 Corvette Stingray Coupe Premiere Edition at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, KY to celebrate the 60th year of Corvette production. Only 500 of these beauties will be made, and are all top-of-the-line 3LT models with the Z51 Performance Package.
The Premiere Edition will have the Laguna Blue Tintcoat paint and Brownstone suede interior. Carbon fiber will also line the interior and will be visible on the exterior roof. Other unique styling cues include the “stinger” hood stripe, Stingray logo on the sill plates and wheel caps, and Corvette-branded luggage from Thule. An exclusive dash plaque will commemorate this limited edition model, which will have a unique VIN starting with 300001.
Performance-wise, the Premiere Edition is your standard Z51 with Magnetic Selective Ride Control and performance exhaust that makes 460 horsepower, 3.8-second trips from 0 to 60mph, 1.03 G’s of lateral acceleration, and stops in 107-feet.
