I'm glad to hear you enjoyed our LS Decoded feature and now that we've run the story, we'll be sure to keep our data up to date with any additional LS family members. Without a doubt, the Gen III and IV engines have really come alive into the muscle car scene and if you think you're going to miss that old school rumble, then you may want to check out Comp Cams latest line of Thumpr cams that are specifically built for the modern-day powerplant.

Got something to say? We'll make you famous and put your letter here. Email us at

This moves means they'll be able to add more in-stock items to their inventory, improve their logistics in order to ship orders even more quickly, and to expand their sales and technical departments to continue to provide excellent value through top-quality parts and excellent customer service.

If you're in the area, be sure to check out their open house from January 22-23, featuring vendor demonstrations and displays. You can also log onto their website at for complete details and latest news.

Full Yella Jacket
D&P Classics of Huntington Beach, California have built another stunning muscle-ride. This time it's in support of our military forces serving throughout the world for freedom. The '71 Chevelle features a 355 cubic inch NASCAR Donovan small-block, Tremec six-speed transmission, tubular suspension components, Baer brakes, U.S. wheels, and BFG KDW tires. It even includes a heads-up display, side view cameras, air conditioning, and HID lighting.

Sema Scholarship Camaro
SEMA, Chevrolet, eBay, and Hurst Performance Vehicles teamed up to auction a pre-production 2010 Hurst Camaro at the SEMA Show. Serial #3, the first Hurst/Camaro offered to the public, was won by Ernest Feist for a winning bid of $61,900 and joins a 1979 Trans-Am in his automotive stable.

Featuring choice items, including Hurst/MagnaFlow exhaust, Hurst/Eibach suspension, T-2 20-inch forged wheels, a Billet/Plus short throw shifter and a red-anodized HARD-DRIVE billet pistol-grip shift handle, the Camaro puts down 445 hp from its V-8 mill.

Signatures from luminaries such as Doc Watson, Linda Vaughn, and Hurst executives, and a personalized "SEMA Special" interior identification badge attest to the rarity of this special vehicle.

Proceeds from the sale benefit the SEMA Memorial Scholarship Fund, a program that fosters industry leadership by supporting the education of students pursuing careers in the automotive aftermarket.

On The Big Screen
Sifting through internet forums and sites like, we usually come across pretty interesting threads. Take the website link listed below as an example, which was posted by forum member: mondo05. This link will take you directly to an internet database which holds every movie and television program El Caminos and other great muscle cars have been in. Check it out to see if your cars made the big screen.

So I got to thinking again. Yes, with me that may be a bit dangerous since it's not something I do very often. But, this morning during the religious "coffee-talk" with Henry D, we reflected on how time really does fly by. Fortunately though, we still remain upbeat and ready to pounce on our strict edit scheduling. We have just returned from our Thanksgiving holiday break refreshed and are back to the grind, again. We've got things to look forward to also. With three main project cars in the stable and one very slick '02 Z06 as a possible fourth, we've got a lot to handle.
