Improved Steering

Through their gStreet line of performance steering and suspension products, Chassisworks now offers complete steering linkage kits for ’68- 81 Camaros to replace the factory centerlink, idler arm, and tie rod assemblies. Quality OEM-style components are used in addition to Chassisworks’ billet adjuster sleeves and bump-steer kit. The bump-steer kit replaces the factory outer tie rod and adjusting sleeve with an extended, billet-steel sleeve and high-strength, 4130-body rod end. The tapered stud, along with a selection of shims, enable vertical adjustment of the outer pivot point at the steering arm allowing for improved steering predictability. LS3 Hi-Ram Intake

The Holley cast aluminum Modular Hi-Ram Intake System fits GM LS3/L92 engines and is introduced as a cost-effective alternative to fabricated sheetmetal for high-performance applications where induction system height is not limited. The base is a modular design built to accept a wide range of carbureted and EFI tops. There are four tops. A forward-mount throttle body style, dual 4150, dual 4500, and a blank top to machine for any induction style. First-Gen Sport Chassis

The easiest and most efficient way to give a first-gen Camaro sports car-like handling is to install this new three-piece GT-Sport chassis package from Art Morrison Enterprises. Given that Camaros were manufactured at multiple factories, and there is just enough difference between them to prevent employing a common frame, AME’s engineering team solved the problem by designing a modular chassis that allows the builder to position and weld the subframe connectors to best fit the floor pan of each individual vehicle. The front subframe is bolt-in. Awesome handling is ensured through use of a C6 ‘Vette front suspension with forged aluminum control arms and choice of a triangulated 4-bar or 3-link rear suspension with Watts linkage. Strange Engineering adjustable coil-overs are used at the corners, with anti-sway bars also employed front and rear. With mini-tubs, there’s room to run 335 rear tires. No Distortion Discs

The standard fitment brake discs on many performance cars can suffer from brake vibrations caused by disc distortion. This generally occurs on fast road and track installations. Offering a new take on the floating systems already in the marketplace, AP Racing’s Strap Drive System uses a series of stainless steel straps to locate the disc to the mounting bell, producing a flexible coupling between the hub and the disc faces.
