Drop Box
Don’t have room in the trunk for a battery ... or don’t have a trunk at all? Consider mounting your battery under the floor of your vehicle. Doing so allows better weight distribution, unclutters your engine compartment, and provides space for an auxiliary battery. Summit Racing’s Drop-Down battery boxes are designed for under-floor batteries. The battery boxes are available in stainless steel and black powdercoated steel and come with a battery hold-down. The boxes measure 10.5 by 7 by 9.5 inches (LxWxH). Go to summitracing.com or call them direct at 800.230.3030.

COPO History
COPO muscle cars (Camaro, Chevelle, Nova, Corvair, and Vega) have been written about in books and magazine articles for decades, but to this day there is still a vast interest in the history of these super rare and highly sought-after giants in the muscle car world. Chevy muscle car aficionado and author Matt Avery traveled to 14 states and Canada to photograph and experience firsthand 45 of the world’s best COPO cars. He interviewed dozens of original owners, dealership sales staff and repair technicians, and GM executives tied to the inner workings of the Central Office in order to ensure the most accurate narrative in this comprehensive hardcover book titled COPO Camaro, Chevelle & Nova.
