Miraculously Malleable

Inline Tube’s brake line tube in a 17-foot roll is three times softer than steel tubing and simple to bend or form. The hardest part of doing hard lines: putting a flare on the end is easy, even with the most basic of tools. All the complaints of hard line tube and tools that “can’t do the job” have been solved by the brake plumbing experts at Inline Tube. This new tubing is a special copper/nickel steel alloy mix that has very high-pressure capabilities but is super easy to work.

Finch Performance 002 2/3

Slick Shifters

American Powertrain recently added a line of Finch Performance shifters, including Finch Performance’s 10-inch angled shift handle in clear anodize, 12-inch angled shift handle in black anodize, 6-inch angled shift handle in clear anodize, and 8-inch angled shift handle in black anodize. Shown is the Finch Performance 8-inch straight shift handle with diamond-cut black anodize and 6x9-inch shifter ring and boot. One nice aspect of the shifter ring is that it’s large enough to remove the shifter from the trans without dropping the transmission out of the car. Keeping Your Cool

Boil your oil or run too cool no more! Improved Racing just released the first oil cooler adapter with a built-in thermostat for the C7 Corvette. Improved Racing’s president and lead engineer Michael Ihns stated “the C7 factory water-to-oil heat exchanger is acceptable for street use but insufficient for track or performance use.” And went on to explain that “replacing the factory unit with a traditional air-to-oil cooler can reduce both oil and coolant temps at the track, but without a thermostat one risks over-cooling the oil on the street.” This slick widget will also work on any LT1 or LT4 engine, using the Corvette-style oil pan, being grafted into your classic Chevy.
