Geared for Performance
Comp Cams’ LS Gear Drive Timing Sets are designed for LS engines that are used in racing, street, marine, and extreme applications. They provide the most accurate valve timing possible by eliminating chain flutter and backlash, and bolts on without modification, maintaining the stock oil pump and timing cover for all LS-based engines except dry-sump models, which require an external oil pump. LS Gear Drive Timing Sets are designed for three-bolt cams and work with all 24x and 58x LS engines and are available for both stock GM blocks and the RHS LS Race Block. Get more information at compcams.com or by calling 800.999.0853.

Street/Race LS Heads
Edelbrock’s new E-CNC LS3 cylinder heads feature altered valve angles and locations, spark plug location, and valve sizes along with all-new high-flow ports and chambers. The result is a versatile, high port velocity cylinder head that is an excellent choice for street or race LS1, LS2, and LS3 engines. Despite the geometric revisions, the stock LS3 rocker arms and 69cc chamber size are retained. The Edelbrock E-CNC LS3 cylinder heads utilize a valve size and location allowing it to fit within LS1 3.890-inch bore engines, while leaving it unshrouded on larger-bore LS2 and LS3 engines. Testing showed these cylinder heads flowed 340 cfm, and outperformed the stock LS3 cylinder head by 20 hp on a 500+ hp engine. Belt Traction S-Drive
Eddie Motorsports’ new line of S-Drive Plus Serpentine Pulley Drive Systems utilize a high-performance, eight-rib belt configuration that is 33 percent wider than a standard six-rib belt, which improves belt traction and limits stretch in higher horsepower applications. The eight-rib configuration offers longer belt life by reducing the instances of span vibration (belt whip/belt waves) and can also handle increased torque loads 33 percent greater than a standard six-rib belt. The S-Drive Plus is available for Chevy small-block, big-block, and LS engines and can be ordered in raw machined or bright polished finish as well as a variety of anodized or Fusioncoated colors. Strange Engineering is proud to introduce two “streetable” C-clip eliminator kits for use on GM 10- and 12-bolt and Ford 8.8-inch rearends.
