G-Body Enthusiasts RejoiceDixie Monte Carlo Depot has finalized the acquisition of tooling used to produce more than 100 popular G-body parts and accessories. New parts will be rolling out every month, but there are a few items ready now. The company has one- and two-speaker lower-door panel sets (pair), rear speaker panels, ’86-’88 radio plates, ’78-’81 Malibu rear shelf end caps, ’78-’87 inner fender shields, and these console door assemblies. The console doors are made of ABS plastic with a “soft-touch” finish to emulate the factory-style padded lids. Each lid is custom fit to its own hinge assembly, and is available in all the factory colors.

The company swaps out the oil pan for a low-profile unit, and pins the crank snout for an ATI balancer. Since most aftermarket serpentine accessory drive systems include a water pump and balancer, these are removed. Pace then installs HeatShield Products’ I-M Shield intake manifold heat barrier, for consistent intake air temps, and the rocker arms are beefed up with HD roller trunions. Also included is HP Tuner’s 6110 code scanner/reader, which can be upgraded for custom tuning with purchase of additional software.
