Often we are so focused on horsepower that we lose sight of some other important aspects to owning and enjoying our late-model hot rod. Plus, let’s be honest, we all want something to work on, and not everyone has the budget and skills to change cams or fabricate a turbo kit. With that in mind, we sought out a little weekend project for the average tinkerer, enlisting the help of Greg Lovell and Kyle Miller at AntiVenom for the tips and tricks to make this a fun and enjoyable experience. Being that the battery hold-down had been stripped on our ’05 C6, this provided the perfect opportunity to show how to relocate the battery to the trunk. And while we were at it, we figured why not show how to install the new Innovate MTX-L digital wideband O2 gauge. That way we can keep on eye on our state of tune. As we go forward with modifying this C6, these two electronic upgrades will help achieve better weight balance and provide crucial diagnostics. The same could be said about your ride.
