Chevy Chevelle & Corvette Suspension Guide - Suspension Hunter Part II

A Guide To Bolt-On Chevelle, Corvette & G-Body Suspension Packages

Sean Haggai Apr 1, 2010 0 Comment(s)

If you recall last month's "Suspension Hunter" (Mar. 2010), we gave you the low-down on almost every head-to-toe suspension kit for all generations of Camaros and Novas. Our goal was to provide you with an easy-to-read format. That means no searching catalogs or Internet sites or matching components from different manufacturers. To be quite honest, we weren't prepared to handle the amount of complete front to rear suspension packages available for our beloved muscle cars. There was so much in fact to fit, we've had to split it up into two separate buyer's guide.

1004chp_01_o Chevy_chevelle_corvette_suspension_guide Front_bumper 1/16

Initially we had set out to illustrate every package available for Camaros, Chevelles, Corvettes, and Novas. This time around, however, we've got the digs on suspension kits for A- and G-bodies of all years and with the recent affordability of late-model Corvettes, we've included those as well. Similar to last month, we broke the sections down into packages ranging from street, track, and drag-duty kits, including the components, build material, options available, and pricing.

Whether it's a Pro Touring Chevelle or corner-carving 'Vette, each kit in this guide comes from one manufacturer and tailor-tuned to your specific application. Most of all, these complete suspension packages are easy bolt-on items with the exception of a few that require minimal welding. The only question left to answer is, which one will you pick?
