If you have been reading magazines for a while, then you have at least heard of the Specialty Equipment Market Association or SEMA show. This is where manufacturers of all things automotive congregate to show off their new application or unveil their newest, hottest parts. The show is held at the Las Vegas Convention Center, the perfect place for gearheads to come and cut loose, have some drinks, lose some money, and then drool over the car and parts.

We love going to SEMA because we get a first hand look at the newest products. We get to talk to the manufacturers ask detailed questions on how it works or what the benefits are. The staff here at Super Chevy went and walked the million-square-foot convention center more times than we'd like to remember. We did this so you can sit in the comfort of your home, garage or bathroom and browse the coolest stuff we saw.

Comp Cams XFI SPR cams and Phaser Limiter kits modify GM VVT cam phasers to allow more aggressive cams for big gains in horsepower. Cam phasers are specially designed, computer-controlled cam gears that automatically optimize camshaft timing based on the current engine rpm. The kits restrict the range of cam timing movement to only 20 degrees, thus providing the necessary valve clearance for serious performance cams with tighter lobe separations.
