’67-69 Camaro Fast Track IFS/IRS chassis system

1209chp 01 O September 2012 Chevy High Performance Parts 2/7

The new Camaro Fast Track chassis utilizes Roadster Shop’s very own proven Fast Track front and rear fully independent suspension systems. This chassis is specifically and uniquely engineered to incorporate modern suspension technology into your treasured vintage muscle car for an unbeatable combination. Based around proven C6 Corvette spindles and hubs, RS employs their own unique suspension geometry, offering increased negative camber gains and controlled roll center. The large diameter tube control arms bring an increase in strength and additional clearance to run up to a 10-inch-wide front and 12-inch-wide rear wheel. The Fast Track IFS and IRS have been designed as a system with matched camber curves and roll centers for a dynamic front/rear balance equaling predictable performance. CAD lightweight materials are used to ensure strength and reduce the unsprung weight. Delrin bushings have been specifically machined to eliminate deflection while reducing vibration. Custom 300M drive axles and billet 930 CV joints have been machined specifically for this application with ratings exceeding 1,000 hp to meet the demands of today’s performance-minded driver.

Bolt-in Full Frame for ’68-74 Nova

1209chp 03 O September 2012 Chevy High Performance Parts Chassis With 4/7

The Schwartz G-Machine chassis offers sports car–like 1.08g handling capability and ride quality similar to a European luxury car. Engine mounts are available for both modern LS and older small- and big-block Chevy engines. All Schwartz Chassis feature greasable needle bearing upper A-arms, separate shimless camber and caster adjustments, four-bar rear suspension with Teflon-lined spherical rod ends for bind-free operation and a smooth ride. Fitment is similar to the Schwartz chassis for the ’62-67 Chevy II Nova in that the front subframe is removed from the body. The Schwartz chassis then bolts into the remaining stock unibody structure. Mini-tubbing is not required for fitment, but doing so will allow room for 345/30R19 tires. The resulting Pro Touring–style stance is a couple inches lower than stock. Chassis rail ground clearance is similar to the stock subframe. No floor cutting is required to fit the chassis.
