Six-speed automatic with LS engine conversion kits
Many of Muscle Rods' popular LS swap kits are now available for the new 6L80 and 6L90 six-speed automatic transmissions. The mount kit includes powder coated engine mounts, frame brackets, transmission crossmember, polyurethane bushings, transmission mount, and all hardware. The kits are available for; '55-57 Chevy, '67-81 F-body, '68-74 X-body, '64-77 A-body, '78-88 G-body, '58-72 and '91-96 Impala, and '65-98 GM Truck. Muscle Rods also offers the oil pan and several sets of headers in both mid-length and long-tube, with primaries from 1 3\4- to 2-inch to match to your horsepower level. All gaskets and hardware is included.
Manley Performance Platinum Series pistons
Manley LS pistons are manufactured in-house from 2618 forgings, incorporate an offset wrist pin design and have sufficient crown thickness to handle high horsepower. All shelf stock parts are skirt coated. Upgraded wrist pins are available and Total Seal rings are used exclusively. Manley has a massive selection of shelf stock parts for all the popular LS bore and stroke combinations and has added more part numbers to satisfy the enthusiasts wanting bores upwards of 4.185-inch, which is achievable with LSX and Dart LS Next blocks.

TCI Bolt-Together Torque Converters for GM 6L80E transmissions
TCI Bolt-Together Torque Converters for GM 6L80E Transmissions are purpose-built to improve launch and overall performance. They can be completely disassembled and serviced; removing the billet front provides access to the entire lock-up assembly, turbine, stator and bearings. These bolt-together converters feature a triple-disc lock-up assembly, which can easily be disassembled for servicing. They also include high-speed, load-rated Torrington bearings. A deep-groove ball bearing on the turbine spline reduces friction and increases the high-speed stability of converter components, and also provides input shaft support. The precision-ground billet impeller hub and billet front are CNC-machined to reduce ballooning, while the billet turbine hub, billet lockup piston and billet clutch hub are pre-hardened to improve strength. Easy stator changes and modifications can also be made when the unit is unbolted. By purchasing additional pump assemblies and stators, stall changes can be performed without machining the converter open. Each converter also includes woven carbon friction material designed specifically for GM constant slip applications. As with all TCI torque converters, these feature proprietary HDT, which enables cooler operating temperatures and more efficient drivetrain operation. Each TCI converter is built to exact specifications and is triple tested during assembly.

Known for its innovative carburetors and fuel systems, Quick Fuel Technology is introducing QFI; a bolt-on throttle body electronic fuel injection system capable of supporting 500 horsepower. What makes QFI so unique; it combines the superior fuel atomization aspects of a carburetor with the precise fuel control of EFI. The patent pending 8-hole annular discharge sleeves inject fuel into a venturi where air speed is at its peak, and pressure is at its lowest, atomizing the fuel far better than any traditional injector nozzle can do. This results in a much more homogeneous fuel/air mixture that burns faster and more complete, producing more power and better response. QFI not only has superior fuel delivery, it is packed with features like an on-board ignition driver (no spark box necessary), and full timing control with an integral two-step rev control. The QFI system has versatile programming solutions including self-learning capability, hand-held controller or laptop tuning if desired. Quick Fuel's QFI is designed for 4150 and 4500 style flange intake manifolds, and fuel delivery is provided by 62 lb/hr injectors.
