2004 Chevrolet Corvette C5 Z06
My name is Timothy Scoggins, and I read your magazine every month. I've been a loyal GM guy my whole life and a Corvette guy for just over two years. I've enclosed some pictures of my car, an '04 Corvette Commemorative Z06. It's number 1351 of 2,025 built.
Here's a brief description of the mods on my "Georgia peach":
* LS 402 built by Vengeance Racing* Lunati crank, Eagle rods, and Wiseco pistons* Trick Flow 215cc CNC heads* Vengeance Racing custom-ground cam* FAST 92mm intake, ported and painted by Vengeance Racing* LS2 polished throttle body, ported by Vengeance Racing* SLP Blackwing air filter* Yella Terra Ultra Lite 1.7-ratio rockers* JWIS timing set* Kooks 1 7/8-in headers* Kooks 3-in cross-pipe exhaust system* Bassani Aft-Cat exhaust* Textralia OZ700 clutch* Meziere electric water pump* Melling oil pump* RPM Stage II differential with polished 3.73 gears* MGW short shifter* Baer EradiSpeed Plus rotors* Carbotech Bobcat pads* Raptor shift light* Auto Meter nitrous and air/fuel gauges* iForged wheels wrapped in Nitto Invo tires* WCC lowering kit

I thought I'd pass along a few shots of our Corvette; thanks for the opportunity to show it off a bit. The New England winter was a tough one, and we're looking forward to doing some drop-top cruising this summer.
Here are the highlights of our '74 L82 convertible:
* Original Texas car* Hasn't seen rain since 1985* Original 250hp 350, Turbo-400 trans, and 3.55 rear* AC, power steering, power brakes, and radio delete* Corvette Medium Blue (repainted in 1998)* Original Deluxe black-leather interior, new black soft top* 95K on the car, 10K on rebuilt drivetrain
I'd like to thank the previous owner for keeping her so well maintained; we look forward to continuing the tradition. Please keep up the great work, and thanks for the monthly entertainment.
Think your Vette is Menagerie material? Just send a photo of the car, a brief (or, if you prefer, no-so-brief) description, and whatever else you'd like to Vette Magazine, c/o 'Glass Menagerie, 9036 Brittany Way, Tampa, FL 33619. You can also email the information to firstname.lastname@example.org with "Glass" in the subject line. So what are you waiting for?
1964 Chevrolet Corvette C2 Coupe,
1984 Chevrolet Corvette C4
Our midyear is a '64 coupe with a 327 and 54,000 original miles. It was originally a Saddle Tan car, but a restoration and color change were done in the early 1990s. The car is very reliable, and I drive it quite frequently because it's so much fun.
The '84 Vette is an over-the-hill car that's been raced, survived a tornado, and even used as a delivery truck by a local mechanic. It's a real driver but still a lot of fun, and it always turns heads with its appearance. The paintjob is a Maaco special, but the car looks great as a driver. The stripes were an eBay purchase to provide a unique look.
Mechanically, this Vette is solid. Even with almost 180,000 miles on the odometer, it still runs straight down the highway, sounds good, and has plenty of zip with the Crossfire Injection 350, which was rebuilt about five years ago.

2001 Chevrolet Corvette C5 Coupe
My Torch Red '01 C5 coupe is a low-mileage six-speed car, which I've owned for the past three years. I installed a Mid America Motorworks Quadrapower exhaust system, cross-pipe exhaust system, and dual-flow cold-air induction with K&N filters. I also added a set of C6 Z06 chrome wheels. Other mods include a complete set of screens for the fog lights, front brake ducts, and side vents; along with some chrome engine-bay goodies.
This is my fourth Corvette. My first was a '66 427/425 roadster, followed by a '77, an '85, and now this. All have been real pleasures to own and drive, but the '01 C5 is my favorite. I enjoy driving it when I can and going to the many cars shows here in the Sunshine State.
