It was 1988 when Bill and Leslie Chesser bought their '59 El Camino, took it home to Glendale, Arizona, and tore it apart. After 10 years of working on other things, Bill finally got back to his project with the idea of having it done in one year. Right! The shop that was working on it closed, so once again, everything went on hold. In October of 2000, Bill connected with the folks at Master Street Images in Chandler, Arizona, and they completed the car. Of course, Bill is the first one to admit that no car is ever really done. He's still looking for new parts and ideas.
