Once O'Gorman had all his F-body ducks in a row, he took the SS to D&T Autographics where Jeff Anderson completed the bodywork and Billy Durham sprayed on the correct Autumn Gold paint.
The year was 2003 and O'Gorman was getting nearer to completing the L78. The interior is all original except for the dashpad from OER, the headliner and seatcovers from P.U.I., and the headliner from Tom's Trim.
The list of accolades this car has won is long, but we like to think that appearing in Super Chevy is the greatest honor of all (picture author with tongue planted firmly in cheek).
Oh, and for those purists who think the 15x7 Z28 Rally wheels wrapped with Goodyear Eagle 235/65/15s ruin the originality of the car, we'll have you know that a set of the original 14x7-inch steel wheels with dog dish hubcaps painted the body color sit in O'Gorman's garage as you read this.
