Project American Heroes Gets Some Interior Touches And A Convertible Top

  • 1957 Chevy Bel Air Convertible Interior
    The Roadster Shop installed the wiring harness from American Autowire, the Classic Update Kit specifically designed for '55-57 Chevys. The only place to turn for interior was CARS Inc., longtime supplier of complete interior kits for classic Chevrolet products. Carpeting was trimmed for the Lokar shifter and placed on the floor.

    Lokar Performance Products supplied the shifter and the throttle and brake pedal assemblies. The Lokar shifter operates with solid adjustable linkage, and comes with a neutral safety switch, positive safetylock- out in Park and Neutral, and Teflonlined button in the shifter knob for simple and smooth operation.
