Ironically, Glen says his most memorable experience with the Impala occurred before he owned it. "[It was] when my buddy owned the car in 1966 and I beat him in a drag race with my '64 Nova," he says.
And now the car is pretty much just as it was in 1966, when Glen first saw it. The six-year build was an "off and on" affair for Glen, but he seems to have gotten it just right, as the Impala is not only appealing to the eye, but also on the ears when Glen hits the loud pedal.
