Wayne Russell—1963 Impala

Quick Shot: Wayne dated and married his wife in a '63 back in the day, and wanted to have another just like it. This Impala has the rare power seat option, numbers-matching 225 HP small-block backed by a Powerglide, and goes to all the local shows and church on Sundays.

Curtis McLachlan—1955 Gasser

Quick Shot: Curtis started feeling 18 again, and found a basic body and chassis to use all his spare parts on building a Rat rod-style gasser. Curtis says he only needed to buy six or seven parts to build the car; everything else was scrounging. Very cool.

Wayne and Marcia Rhodes— 1967 Camaro SS

Quick Shot: Wayne bought this one brand new on July 12, 1967. His wife had no idea—he just showed up in a brand-new Camaro. Their first cruise was to a Sinatra concert. In 1979 the car was stored, and in 1998 was fully restored to as-new condition.

Bob Fest— 1972 Yenko Nova Tribute

Quick Shot: Bob owned a real '70 Yenko Deuce with a four-speed and 4.56 gears back when a gallon of gas cost less than a soda. He built his current car as a tribute to its predecessor, with a stout 355 spinning a TH350 trans connected to a 12-bolt rear with old-school Lakewood traction bars.

Ed Duffy—1968 Chevelle SS396

Quick Shot: Ed's car is a “work in progress hot rod” that he bought back in 1987. A real 138 SS car, over the years he's added a 425HP 454 crate motor, Cragar SS wheels, TKO 600 five-speed with Hurst shifter, and a ton of other stuff. Still on the to-do list are four-wheel disc brakes, upgraded ignition, and some new chrome trim.

Mark Trost—1989 Camaro RS

Quick Shot: Mark worked two jobs so he could make the payments to buy his RS back in May of 1989. It rolls on a set of American Racing wheels, and today Mark enjoys taking the Camaro to cruise nights and shows with his sons riding along for fun.
