Jim Peele's '98 Z28 may look great in a show field in Raleigh, North Carolina, but this Camaro was built to run! With a custom EPS 230/234-duration camshaft stuffed under a pair of polished 243-casting heads, Jim can put some power through the drivetrain, which features a custom-built T56 transmission and a Moser 9-inch rear complete with a 4.10:1 ring-and-pinion. Jim's suspension is a mix of parts from Sam Strano, UMI Performance, Spohn, and Koni and is setup to work well on either the street, dragstrip, or autocross course, all three of which Jim hits up whenever he can. That paint is the factory Mystic Teal, although the 3-inch Harwood hood and C5 Z06 wheels really help set it off.
