This gorgeous ’99 Z28 may look like a race car, but to Daniel Carnley of Bossier City, Louisiana, this 11-second rocket is what he calls his daily driver. That’s right, Daniel has over 130,000-miles on the odometer and drives his Z28 every day in any condition including snow and ice! Under the hood, Daniel still sports a stock long-block, although he has added a lumpy 231/237 duration camshaft, an LS6 intake manifold, and a set of Pacesetter long-tubes among a plethora of additional bolt-on parts. The magic of his 11.2-second quarter-mile blasts lies in the suspension, which is outfitted with most of the UMI Performance catalog and a narrowed 9-inch rear with a 4.30:1 ring-and-pinion. The coolest part? It’s a six-speed T56 with an LS7 clutch!
