Chevrolet Nova

The Chevy Nova has captured muscle car fans since its release by General Motors in 1962. Originally dubbed the Chevy II, it had a unibody construction and came with either a four-cylinder or an inline six-cylinder engine. In 1963 the Chevy Nova SS (super sport) was released but it wouldn’t be until the following year before the first factory V8 engine was offered which helped launch the car into drag racing lore.
